What Data We Collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, consent confirmation, the consent text shown at the time of signup, signup timestamp, source page, form location, referrer, UTM parameters, user agent, and a privacy-safe hashed version of your IP address for abuse prevention and audit purposes.

How We Use Your Data

We use your email address to send RUØK™ Cup launch updates, Kickstarter campaign news, and related RUØK™ updates. We use attribution data to understand which channels are helping people discover the campaign. We use technical metadata to protect the form from spam and maintain a reliable signup record.

Legal Basis

For marketing emails, we rely on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe method in our emails or contacting us. For security and basic site operation, we may rely on legitimate interests.

Third-Party Providers

We may use Supabase to store waitlist records, Resend to send transactional and marketing-related confirmation emails, Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam, and analytics providers such as Plausible or PostHog if enabled. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and data processing arrangements.

Analytics And Cookies

Data Retention

We keep waitlist data while the RUØK™ Cup campaign is in development and for a reasonable period afterward to manage launch communications, consent records, suppression lists, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data, subject to any necessary suppression or legal records.
